The 24th annual Grand Kids Festival will spring into action Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10am – 5pm on Postoffice Street between 20th and 23rd Streets in Galveston’s historic downtown Cultural Arts District. Admission to the Festival, inflatables, pony rides and a variety of additional activities are FREE to the public.

Presented by The Grand 1894 Opera House, the Festival is recognized as one of the Gulf Coast region's premier family spring events and is designed as an avenue to introduce children and their families to the arts.

The Festival offers live entertainment on four outdoor stages, as well as on
The Grand’s stage indoors, and features over 40 activity booths - each showcasing
a variety of unique, hands-on activities for children and their families to enjoy.

The Missoula
Children's Theatre

Production of The Frog Prince

Missoula Children’s Theatre works with a cast of 50+ area students for a week prior to the Festival and then presents two performances on The Grand’s historic stage at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM as part of the Festival entertainment.
