2026 Banner Contest Theme
Dr. Seuss!
What are things that remind you of Dr. Seuss?
Silly creatures, tall striped hats, curious cats? Sneeches, Lorax, or good ol’ Cyndy Lou Who?
• Design must fit within rectangular space on front
of entry form. Design must be in a vertical format.
• Drawings only, no text
• Only ONE entry per student
• Suggestion: Large outlined shapes and solid
colors work best for banner designs.
• Colored markers work best for design submissions.
Three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) will be selected from each Grade category:
Grade K-2 | Grade 3-4 | Grade 5-6 | Grade 7-8
All Winners from each grade category will paint their designs on actual
banner material for display on Postoffice Street!
ALL WINNERS RECEIVE:
(1) Opportunity to paint their banners on April 1st at The Grand
(2) A complimentary Grand Kids Festival t-shirt
(3) 10 notecards featuring their design recreated on cards
